This course focuses on artistic and technical problems of video editing. The emphasis of this intermediate-level editing course will be on aesthetic issues, intro to motion graphics, sound mixing, visual effects, outputting Pro Res master files, and Web streaming. We’ll also discuss more advanced aesthetic and technical judgments in the editing process.

Portfolio Post-Production

This course provides students the opportunity to assemble a graduation or professional demo reel of their work under faculty guidance. The content of the demo reel can be varied depending on the student’s area of concentration. The content and technical aspect of the demo reel will be heavily art-directed and guided by a faculty mentor.
